Jurco tried to make a move he had about a 1% chance of pulling off at high speed with his body contorted, and he flew into our goaltenders leg. It was an accident, but it was pretty reckless too.

I get people are mad, but I can't believe people are blaming Jurco. The dude lost an edge, it happens. It's not like he skated straight into Varlamov and lowered his shoulder into him.

Oh please, the game was well out of reach by then. I'm not saying they should've coasted but you don't do that. In fact I'm pretty sure the Avs avoided checking him so that he didn't lose his balance and tumble into the goalie, which he did anyway. I get that he's fighting for his NHL career but it was still reckless, unnecessary, and stupid. One of many reasons why Jurco is barely an NHLer despite top-level speed and puck skills.

I think it's interesting that some people seem to think us complaining about Varly's injury is pretty similar to Ducks fans complaining about Gibsons lol.
