Weird we've only seen the Canes once so far. This is going to be an interesting one. Carolina are a very good team in excellent form (8-1-1 in their last 10) and on paper they play the type of game that tends to trouble the Bruins - very strong forecheck, taking away time and space whenever the opposition have the puck, pretty good pace, well-structured D that's hard to break down, enough talent on offense to hurt you if you get caught out or turnover the puck in bad areas.

Even more so than the Preds game then, another good opportunity to see how the Bs match up against a serious contender that won't muck around. Will do them good to test their mettle again; hopefully our guys are up for the challenge.

Its crazy looking at the Bruins player stats.
You see pasta with these huge offensive numbers and then the next guy is way down there miles away. lol.
It's like the Julien days except we actually have a couple of offensive weapons. Potentially three guys in the bottom 6 (Geekie, JVR and Freddy) might hit 40 points. Debrusk almost at 40 and Heinen is pacing there as well had he played the full season. This team has surprising depth this year.

The problem with starting Sway here is he'll get Carolina twice in 5 days if they stick to the rotation. I think each goalie should get them once. I'd go

Swayman @ Carolina

Linus vs Florida

****3 days between games****

Linus vs Carolina

***FOUR day break****

Swayman @ Pens

Linus @ Caps

Swayman vs Sens (second of a back to back). If the game means absolutely nothing, Bussi

---------PLAYOFFS

Game 1: Linus

after that, go with God Monty. You're gonna need it.

Funny, Peeke (who has been here only a month,) has played more minutes with Grzelcyk this season than BOTH of those new Marchand-Coyle-Geekie and DeBrusk-Boqvist-Frederic lines COMBINED have played together all season.

.. and Grzelcyk-Peeke have only played 10.5 minutes with each other.

Chemistry could be off a bit tonight.
