Me neither:rolleyes: that would be a life changing chunk of change! I looked at the foundation website when I bought my tickets, surprising number of past 50/50 prizes still listed as unclaimed! My guess if this one will get claimed :wg:

Yeah I wonder how long they have to hold unclaimed winnings. Or maybe there are a pile of 50/50 winners lost by drunk fans sitting in findmassmoney.gov lol.

It was great to win after that BS double minor. Hard to believe that there was no agenda there, give me a F****g break.

The poor guy sitting behind, plugging his ears. I would be so upset if I ended up beside that thing, he should sue for hearing loss. I have to mute the sound when it starts, it makes my blood pressure rise....lol
Horns are banned in Kitchener at the Aud.
Anyone brings one in its confiscated. Watching the Soo Greyhound/Guelph Storm playoffs up in the Soo. Horns blasting the whole game. Most frigging annoying sound you can hear. If a team needs some blow hard blowing a horn to give them confidence they have serious issues.
Wonder if Horn Guy blows that horn while his wife does the house work? Lucky Gal.

I always worry the karma involved in hoping for a certain playoff matchup, so I’ll go the other way.

Rd. 1

Don’t want TB because they get every call, break and lucky bounce vs. the B’s.
Don’t want Toronto because of the drama, especially if they lose to them.

God leaf board is obnoxious as ever. Mstthews is god and sammy is Patrick Roy. Lets see Matthews in playoffs when there is no room out there. And Sammy is a sieve lol.
The parade is back on!!!

It was cancelled when they lost to NJ the other day 🤪 but it’s on man! 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪

Sammy for the Vezina. Greatest goalie since Johnny Bower!

They love Matthews now and were dumping on him the other day. This is why I don’t want the Bruins to play the Leafs. They can beat TO, but the fans and media will make it easier for me to shave with sandpaper than watch TV in Canada

I admit I was super nervous during the OT and shootout!
Some random thoughts:
Interesting juggling of the lines, I think it’s worth a try over several games.
McAvoy was his usual horse self - we are blessed.
Gorgeous goal by JB.
Trent looked like most fighters after meeting Ali.
I loved seeing Brazeau crash into Caps like a bowling ball into pins.
That 4 on 3 PK was massive!
Bulldog was a brick wall when it mattered most.
I was disappointed that Beecher wasn’t chosen for the shootout.
Pasta’s shootout goal was a magic trick.

I did consider that

The B's have won the last 6 regular season games against the Leafs, but the Leafs won 4 straight regular season games before that

Once the playoffs start, regular season games don't mean shit

Neither series would be easy, but I just feel more confident against the Caps, because I think the B's could wear them down
Kind of remote that they would play the Caps isn’t it Tampa or Leafs more likely

There sure was a bunch of hype over Ovie heading into this match-up - 17 goals over his last 20-something games or what have you. I swear I heard his name about 4 times all game and the only highlight was him crying like a baby about a non-call.

PP specialist at this point. That OT PP was especially concerning with Ovechkin.

Yeah, Ovie was pretty upset about that non-call, since he flopped to try to get the call! 😂

WASHINGTON, DC — A playoff berth already secured, what remains of the regular season for the Bruins is waiting for the math to sort out in the Eastern Conference standings and discover whom they will face when the postseason puck drops April 20.

One of the opponents could be the Caps, and if so, based on the Bruins’ 3-2 shootout win Saturday night, it could be one fun, skilled, and grinding first round.

After losing hold of 1-0 and 2-1 leads earlier in the night, the Bruins settled it in the OT skills session, Kevin Shattenkirk providing the final winning dart after Jake DeBrusk and David Pastrnak also scored in the five-round shootout.

Shattenkirk, scratched in five of the previous seven games, was called into the spotlight as the Bruins’ fifth shooter. Over the course of his 12:55 ice time, he had shot three times and landed only one on net. He skated straight down the slot and finished off with a low-slot wrister by goalie Charlie Lindgren’s glove hand. Connor McMicheal followed for the Capitals and Jeremy Swayman pocketed the 2 points with a glove save.

“I got a pretty good read on Jake’s — [Lindgren] seemed to drop his glove a little bit,” noted Shattenkirk, referring to DeBrusk’s leadoff strike. “So I stuck to my normal move and my normal route and just saw it was open — just tried to get it glove side. Always nice to chip in in any way, shape, or form.”

The Bruins’ best work of the night came in the five minute 3-on-3 session, during which they were shorthanded for 4:00 when Hampus Lindholm was whistled off for a double-minor high stick on TJ Oshie. The Caps landed four shots on Swayman, including a low, blistering wrister by Alex Ovechkin, and ultimately were denied their chance to pocket what could be a very valuable extra point in their fight to make the playoffs.

“Real good sticks by our penalty killers,” said coach Jim Montgomery, referring to the key work on the penalty kill. “We used about seven guys . . . that’s playoff hockey, we’ve been seeing it a lot lately.”

it helped that Ovie stayed out for the entire 4 minutes. he stood still for most of it negating the advantage of movement and catching the Bruins out of position for an open shot. Pretty selfish of him and surprised the coach left him out that long.
When Ovie went to the bench to get a new stick, another teammate jumped out to sub for Ovie, but Ovie said "No, I am staying!".

They should also ban fans who constantly yell “shoot”. Haha
It’s so annoying sitting beside someone who yells shoot any time someone has the puck

I was surprisingly wired after the Easter Vigil last night and made it through the entire game on DVR.

Thought for sure they’d get scored on in overtime. Ovechkin basically camped out in his spot for the entire 4 minutes.

I’m ready for playoff hockey. Still feeling the ripple effects from Covid with the regular season starting later and, as a result, the playoffs starting later as well.

I’m ready for a playoff series.
