Awesome game. Great to see Strome play well. I was still a believer, but his lack of strong NHL play was starting to get a little worrisome. Hopefully he keeps it up.

Team is sticking up for each other, we used to be the team that would not fight after a big hit on an opposing teams star.

An upgrade on Arichbald will go a long way if Strome can keep up his play tonight. Lets keep Panik, brings a lot to the team that other player on the roster dont have.

Loving this team right now.

Let’s say hypothetically, this is how it starts

Keller - Stepan - Panik
Domi - Dvorak - ??? (Draft pick?)
Perlini - Strome - Fischer
Sticky boys

It’s not much addition we need to do.

Pretty dang good. ALWAYS cheer for winning over losing. Start building the right culture. Besides, the lottery pretty much means there is no reason to tank. It is not worth it.

Cool to see the win in person but a bit of a blah game for both teams. Both teams weren't making many crisp passes and not a lot of shots were getting through. Even the Cabo line was a little underwhelming.

Not sure who our best player was. Thought Strome's goal was a smart play. He looked about the same as normal though. Also cool to see Keller break Mueller's points record. Now let's go for his goal record. Max Domi was really irritating the Sabres. It was nice to see the response, even from Keller, after the elbow on Stepan.

Man, is Panik frustrating. Lots of blown opportunities with those stone hands, but yet he has goals in back to back games I believe.

Any time Luke Schenn has the puck is terrifying.

The Perlini goal drought is getting ridiculous.

Raanta's save percentage just keeps creeping up...

Jordan Nolan is still a dink.

Edit: Strome was getting more ice time after Stepan left late (don't think he returned). He looked quite a bit better then. Tocchet was relying on him. He handled that role well.

Ranger fan coming in peace. It sure looks like Stepan has been good for you guys the last 20 games or so. He was always so consistent for us. Looks to put up another 50-55 point season. Any thoughts?

Tocchet has announce Kuemper will go tomorrow night at Carolina on the back-to-back.

Speaking of which.... what happened to Johnson?? Did he get yanked between periods or what??

News says undisclosed injury, but guesses it might be a head injury (from the shot he took in the shield).

The only team which benefitted from the tank is Toronto, and I dare say that their success has more to do with excellent talent acquisition than Matthews. Edmonton, despite McDavid, and Buffalo, despite Eichel, are not playoff teams 3 years later. With the poor management of the previous front office I seriously doubt that either McDavid or Eichel would have saved our franchise from where it is right now.
