He's being generous I'd he's not calling out the 4th line and MacDermaid.
Carter should have had an Av ring his f****** bell, that's what he needed.Carter is gonna get the hatty
Yep. Very disappointed that we didn't do shit. What's the point of MacDermid if all he does is fall down like a jackass? We have no real tough guys left on this team without Manson, Kadri, Landy and EJ.Carter should have had an Av ring his f****** bell, that's what he needed.
Didn't watch the game but once again, we lose to playoff teams. And the Pens are a semi-playoff team. Pathetic. I'm not holding my breath for a repeat.
I wouldn't say it is the Penguins, Avs have had a turtle problem the entire season, to be frank. The shots are 34-15 Pittsburgh the last 40 minutes lol.
This is twice now the Penguins have completely annihilated the Avs in the second half of hockey games this season.
Bit of both. Avs have gotten outplayed a lot this season but Pittsburgh especially has pounded them in the second half of both games this season. Like it hasn't even been close. No clue why, the Penguins just pump the Avs. Tonight being 5-2 was probably generous to the Avs.I wouldn't say it is the Penguins, Avs have had a turtle problem the entire season, to be frank
Dallas is the f***ing worst. And, of Course, Dallas gets a traveling Pens team on 2nd half of B2B tomorrow night...
Teams that play a very aggressive defensive style are kryptonite to the Avs. When they’re losing puck battles and can’t complete passes they just wither. And it’s not the hitting that kills them so much, it’s the active sticks in passing lanes that really get them. Avs have enough skill to overcome that sometimes but they didn’t tonight.Bit of both. When he scored and celebrated like that, I wanted to elbow my telly even if I think the original play was incidental contact. That last Carter goal was heartbreaking, though.
Obviously not quite to the extent of the Avs but the Penguins are their #2, #3, and #5D.It was funny when they said the Pens were playing injured...
Bonino, Rutta, Petry, Petterson, Kulivov
vs
Makar, Landeskog, Lehkonen, Rodrigues, Manson, EJohnson, Francouz
LOL!
I think a big reason why so many people get upset over losses this season is how bad the Avs look against playoff teams. They are beating the bad teams which they should. However, since January 1st they are 8-7-3 (including Florida here) and 4 of those 8 wins have required OT or SO.A loss after a 6 game win streak. Just fold the team now.

It's been a similar story all season. More losses overall to top teams than wins. That doesn't paint a good picture come playoff time.
Exactly. Nothing to do with the loss. Our game plan or players aren't good enough vs. playoff teams.I think a big reason why so many people get upset over losses this season is how bad the Avs look against playoff teams. Did they not mention Avs injury situation at the same time, so quite funny. Btw these Dmen are trash.Obviously not quite to the extent of the Avs but the Penguins are their #2, #3, and #5D.
That isn't exactly easy to play through.
