No big feat shutting down the offensively challenged Vancouver Canucks, however, a win's a win, and Vegas needs to start tuning for and going into playoff mode, no matter what opponent they face.

In that regard, the team did what they needed to do.

I feel sort of sorry for the Canucks today. They did have a statistical (but unlikely) chance at a playoff spot.

Their team did not show up at all. Maybe they thought the game was at 4 PM instead of at 1 PM. Or, as this video of the Canucks players from yesterday suggest, maybe they were out too late last night.
