Tonight the Wings are in Buffalo, and although it's tempting to say that their play of late has been worth about bag of buffalo chips, one should remember that on the treeless Great Plains, buffalo chips were sometimes called "Plains Oak" and were quite useful for fuel, for trail markers, and even featured in a song or two about the frontier. No one in the locker room can be too happy with their play of late, and fans of Detroit hope the song on their team's minds is closer to "We're Not Gonna Take It" than "Turkey in the Straw".
