Askarov was amazing he's athletic, smart, moves the puck like a D. The complete package.

Struble is a tank with wheels we have a good one, reminds me of Chiarot.

Heineman, Lehkonen but we already knew from pre season.

3-2 Final

Not Barron
Hughes wanted to send him back down at the deadline like RHP and Ylonen so he was eligible for the AHL playoffs, but he was injured and the NHL rejected the paper transaction. The plan was to send Barron down if all the injured dmen came back healthy.

If you rebuild, they will come.

Laval uses to finish the chances they've got. No matter who was in net. They will miss time to make it. But still with everyting that happened, the callups and all....a good season. They are just not as sharp as they were.

After the season, if the Habs are out and Rocket in, yes.

Montreal
And Cleveland somehow beat Toronto. Bye bye playoffs.
Yeah, seems like they're cooked...

They're not playing badly, constantly putting up a lot of shots on the net and generating dangerous chances but clearly lack finishers and skill.

Hopefully next year with Roy and Kidney joining the team they'll be more deadly.

That game is perfect example why a good goalie is huge: Askarov is a very good young prospect, Primeau isnt anymore. Worst numbers in his 4th AHL season. They have a good one in Kemell too.

I remember with this board these posters all thought McCarron was going to be first line player. I go back to that thread once in awhile for a chuckle
Or the Poehling thread after 1 game in 2019. The KK thread in 2018. The Primeau thread also in 2018 (pretty big year for dreamers). More names will show soon because a prospect is a prospect, nothing less, nothing more.

At least got it right with Caufield in 2019.

Half of young guys Caufield, Guhle, Barron, Heineman, Farrell, Hutson, Beck, Roy, Slaf, Mailloux, RHP, Dobes, wont live up to expectations already too high.

Do not pencil a prospect or rookie top 6 or top 4d before he does it at this level for a couple of seasons.
