I still remember the behind-the-scenes video the Habs released of the 2013 draft. During the scouting meeting, MB was telling them that they need to get bigger. Remember the playoffs before, Habs were physically outmatched by the Sens.

So Habs went for McCarron instead of Shea Theodore, who was available and was taken right after McCarron.
