Larkin an AA speed Are faster than us reguardless imho

They are faster than most players in the league imho - them playing against a team that is playing the second game of a back to back just exaggerates it.

Maybe playing the second game in two nights had something to do with that?

Hadn't thought of that - good point. Not chalking up the speed differential totally to that but it should affect our assessment for sure.

Those two are an unfair comparison for any team. I think the Jackets are solidly middle of the pack when it comes to overall team speed.

I tend to agree. Glad we didn't win the s/o. Who cares at this point in the season? We played a pretty good game. That's what important.

They did look good, but gotta bury those chances.

No matter how many days off we had Larkin, Helm and that AA guy are extremely fast skaters and would make us look slow by comparison.

Saad, Cam, Calvert, Jones,Wennberg aren't slow guys. Beyond that we slow down a bit and Detroit has more depth speed.

Speed wasn't the reason we tied in regulation. Not finishing was. That is one of, if not the, biggest problem we need to address going forward.

I agree with this. Better shooters, better face-off takers, better conditioning (during the summer) and making our salary cap situation more advantageous.
