Stephens said if Vatanen plays Lydman will likely sit. Has Boudreau been watching different games than me? Lydman has probably been our second best defenseman behind Fowler.

Boudreau wouldn't say so but figure that Sami Vatanen will be latest Duck to make his NHL debut. Either 7 D will play or maybe Lydman out.

Really? Lydman sits? BB is starting to get on my nerve more than RC did.

One of the few NHL games which are available to everybody in Finland, so this is the night to unleash the beast. 4 finns against Minnys 3 finns!

Edit. maybe not if he replaces Lydman.

Maybe Lydman sits so he's fresh against Los Angeles? Although, I would have sit Allen because he is probably exhausted on Saturday.

Agreed. I'm all for putting a more defensive guy out there to let Vatanen play his game, but that isn't Souray. To me, Lydman is an infinitely better choice for that job than Souray. He's more mobile, better defensively, and just smarter.

If Vatanen is in he should replace Souray since both are PP specialists and he could play with Beauch.

I don't quite understand why Lydman is scratched instead of Souray or Allen.
Ryan as the second line center? I don't like it
