If we're still on the periphery of the race so is Chicago, LA, Edm, and even Anaheim though probably not for much longer.
A month ago the Ducks had a -24 goal diff. It's now -55 after just 13 more games

Absolutely. Like a lot of players around here they are only really a problem when they have to played outsized roles. We've done several of these good underlying numbers/eye test players and a lot of them haven't actually boosted their stats playing in bigger roles. Cousins has.

That was a Tip style win. Timely goals, we got outplayed, bent but didn't break, Goal tending won it for us. They were better but we won, we'll take it
