There was a hugh 80s themed party in my town over the course of last week. Pretty much only listened to 80s music for like 7+ days. And I loved it.

Bleh, going to the Leafs-Devils game tonight for work in a box, would much prefer to stay home and watch this. Hopefully, with a 2 hour start time difference, I can get home in time and start it from the beginning without knowing the score.

I only know one Finnish band that I listen to - Nightwish - but they are pretty awesome

You're missing out, Finnish music absolutely destroys Swedish IMO (but I like folk, which Finland has a ton of bands). While I am not a fan of Gothenburg metal/rock. E: It sucks that Tarja left Nightwish, haven't listen to them since with ugly songs like "Bye Bye Beautiful".

Out of those, I've only listened to Ensiferum, Wintersun, and Apocalyptica.
I'm old (school), so I actually bought CDs from each of them.

I don't care for screaming/growling/whatever in any music, but In Flames is brilliant enough that I can ignore it in their music

Same goes for McLeod. That line shouldn't be counted on to be a shutdown line, but that's how Roy is using them. Though if Frei is to be believed, that line has been broken up and Mitchell now centres the 3rd line with Tanguay and Iginla.
