It was a good season. I ate many Tums and drank many beers witnessing this roller coaster of a season. Making the playoffs was huge for this franchise.

Shero did a hell of a job this year. Hall was the best player in the NHL this season. Kinky came through when we needed him the most. Coleman and Wood stepped up and got much better. Nico solved our 1C problem. Vatanen came in and ate up a lot of minutes for a D that needed it. Butcher, Gibbons, and Noesen were nice surprises.

Still lots of holes on this team. I like Boyle, he carried the team for 2 weeks, but I don't think you can have both him and Maroon on this team. Both are just soooooo slow. LJ, Moore, Grabner, Hayes, and Stafford can't be here next year. Severson needs a better coach. Zacha has to find the scoresheet more often next year. They need to add snarl. Maybe Santini is the guy.

That's why I'm doing the unthinkable and rooting for a team with Brad f'n Marchand on it.

I will not rest until I see the Bolts eliminated from the postseason so Stamkos has no shot at winning the Cup.

I think it was like 10 minutes lol. Devils were humbled. Just would have been nice to not have Vats incident happen. Not saying it would have swung the balance but it was very obvious how much they missed him these last 5 periods. Huge loss.

Whatever, this was a necessary step in the process. Real eye opener for the younger players. As hard as it is making the playoffs, it’s even harder to compete there. I thought they tried and that’s enough for me. Tampa is just better. No shame in not being able to beat them.
