There’s just not enough to rely on up front. If a couple guys go cold, it’s a fruitless effort.

The shot count makes it look like they are “dominating”, but it’s mostly a mass of D grade chances.

Poor drafting, does nothing to improve in the off-season even though teams around them did, and goes half the season with a gaping hole in the 2nd line without improving it.

Safe to say the organization views this season as a building block and not a real deep playoff tram.
