IMHO, I would have had J-SWAY as #3 star, but the win was the important thing and a great game tonight for JDB.
Was on the edge of my seat with my hands over my eyes for the last two periods until I heard the hats hit the ice after the Pasta hat trick. The team of the misfit toys is back at the top of the league again.

I believe when Pasta plays against a team with a great player like McKinnon, it motivates Pasta's game. He definitely was 'beasty' tonight.

I keep looking at this team on paper vs. the results and it just doesn't add up. This "island of misfit toys" vibe is a lot of fun I must say.
It's an enigma, but an entertaining one.

Sure depending on what else they do. Have the space and it’s not like there are $10M players out there. I’m not saying it’s going to happen or even that it should, just that it’s not some horrible play given what the structure looks like next year.

I don’t agree. I don’t think having $12M locked in with two goalies is a smart idea.
I believe if the BRUINS continue to want to have two #1 goalies next season, signing J-SWAY may prove to be a problem.
He can get equal money somewhere else where he'll be starting more games.

Fun game. It was kind of what I expected, but somewhat in reverse. (We did run out of gas from the start of the second to mid-third, but one had to expect that after a white hot first.) I thought HL was excellent tonight. His reads and pinches were exceptionally good. Good win and it could have been 8-2 if not for Georgiev and some close misses.

But that’s a comment in a vacuum. What are you doing with the space, given trades for any highly paid player are tough with limited assets?
