IF we lose fire Quinn 100% no kap . This is a definitive MUST WIN game (and series, tbh), the Devils freaking STINK and they just offloaded more players including their best goalscorer, a guy who always kills us (Zajac), and 2 of their better defenders. Zero excuses.
Lol literally no matter what happens it’s going to be used as more reasons to fire Quinn. But yea they absolutely should win this.

These won't be a walk in the park. NJ can effectively end our playoff hopes by winning two of the four games. Still, should be fun for the kids

No OT please, I can't handle that bullshit again on so many levels, thankssomuch

Taking turns doing 2 on 1s, a pre-shootout if you will, is better than the crap 3 on 3 has become. And Quinn's player selections make it that much more intolerable. CKs claim to fame in OT is actually dumping the puck in, I was like:

Of course Howden is in so I just hope Kravtsov stays with Buch. Please don't put him on the 4th line

If Kreider comes out floating again switch him with Kravstov and leave him on the 4th line for the rest of the game. Also no power play or ot for Kreids unless he comes to play and is at least as visible as Kravstov. Kravstov has earned top line time since he has been here, Kreider has not

I want to like him.

He says all the right things... what happens on the ice is a different story.
I like his demeanour, personality, even his voice. He seems like someone who could play the role of a president or something in a movie lol
I (and most Rangers fans) were high on him earlier in his tenure here. I think the Kakko/Laf underperforming is the main reason people soured on him. But I don’t know, Kakko has definitely grown his all around game since last season and I think Quinn is a big reason for that. Similar how Buchnevich was the posterboy of soft Euro players and is now one of the best PK specialists in the league and emerged as an elite defensive forward with a mean streak (and now also putting up elite production coincidentally).

I haven’t seen many people singing his praises after he demoted our longest serving Ranger in favor of a guy in his 5th NHL game last game. If Knoblauch did that while Quinn was away, everyone would’ve been fawning over him. I was one of Quinn’s biggest fans, this season he lost me a bit; but since coming back from Covid he is beginning to win me over again

Kreider should start on the 4th line and work his way up not the other way around. He needs to know he isn't guaranteed a top 6 spot anymore

The issue IMO is also the reason he was hired. He is decent-good at developing individuals. His 'system', personnel management and x's and o's is where he really loses me.

We are a great group of individuals. IMO up there with the very best.

We are an average, underachieving team. Our structure/system/teamplay is towards the bottom of the league.

Like I said, he serves/served his purpose. If they want to keep him to help further develop individuals.... its fine IF... big IF... they hire an assistant that will strengthen his glaring weaknesses. A Jacques Martin for the offensive side essentially

I want our kids to dominate theirs, don't really care about the rest. Playoffs still such a long shot.

He is keeping Howden in cause he is expecting us to beat the Devils tonight who are depleted. That way he can play him based on the "not wanting to change a winning formula" garbage.

RIP Julien. Too bad. He's been one of the more interesting prospects we've had. I know these types of players rarely work out but still.
