1. Jarmo said in the off-season that they knew that they had to improve defensively
can you imagine what it would look like if they hadn’t ( it’s a sarcastic comment so think about it)
2. Jarmo also stated something like there was room for internal growth and improvement from many of the young players, well IT AIN’T HAPPENING
3. with all these injuries maybe they need to rethink how they are getting the players ready and physically prepared for the upcoming season because whatever they have been doing AIN’T WORKING
4. We are now officially at the halfway point of the season and there looks to be little help or hope on the horizon. No need to try to tank, this team can tank organically

The odds of them hitting the #1 in the lottery are slim. Even if they do, he'll only be around the rookie contract length at which time we'll piss him off in some way that he'll leave at first opportunity. Or he'll be a bust.

Maybe many people won't like it, but I liked the game. Unfortunately we don't have the defensemen likeCarolina has. Boqvist, Gavrikov, Blankenburg, sometimes Gudbranson and? Compare that to Carolina. Next, the centers. Although the first line worked perfectly, especially the Roslovic-Laine pairing, what about the others? Johnson and Sillinger have great talent, but everyone saw how that worked when the tempo was higher in this game. Similar to Marchenko. That's why they have little time to get used to it.
Still, we had a very good zone transition. I liked the way most of the defensemen were helping the forwards. But that defense...
Btw, still one. Carolina - Burns, Slavin, Pesce, Skjei, Columbus - Gabčíkovo, Boqvist, Blankenberg, if I close my eyes, even the third, Gudbranson.

Yes you have a lot of things the you try to build hope from and some of those things won't work, hopefully not too many. That is how it goes, I feel like we can have a mature mindset about that process and it's not difficult to do. I've been here as long as anyone else has (day one).

Typical Jackets - IF 13 things happen and we avoid inuries then maybe we can play one playoff series

Lot of it is projections.

A top4 signing and just kids getting older should improve them by a mile.

Columbus has one of the prospect pools in the league and could have the best by next summer.
They all aren't just going to bust

They just can’t continue forever to be this injured.

& Jiricek& Johnson are legit prospects/young players but for the start of this season were too young.

Jarmo was after lot of different players last offseason and I would assume that’s going to continue, he’s not going to go through an entire offseason without adding players
