I normally think that a team like the Pens with their backs against the wall come out and win this one. The Rangers will certainly come out flat no matter their intentions. Pens should come out flying.

However with all the turmoil I somehow doubt it this time. These things do effect the team and if it has bubbled over into media reports it likely is even worse than reported. Maybe this will be the wakeup call Mario and Burkle need that they can not run this team like an old age home to sit around with buddies they gave jobs to and talk about the good old days. It is a business, and at least Burkle knows what it is to run many of those successfully. And this ain't it. But shirt term? The team has to be down given all the antics the past couple of days, and likely longer behind the scenes.

Yeah, they won game two without scoring first so that might not make a huge difference. They just need to get into the offensive zone and do something. They need to get over 30 shots tonight. If they can do that and still lose, so be it. But there needs to be more energy.

Need to come out and do right off the bat what we did to Lundqvist in the last 40 mins of game #2, get the pucks deep and maintain goal line possession... Get in Hanks face and make him get rattled. Open up space for our depleted back end to be able to put pucks on net when it's fed out to them and look for the garbage pucks down low. That's how we win this.

Tonight will be Malkin night. No way he goes down without any noise at all, even if he has a lingering injury. Let us hope the dead weight on his line also finds some form of proper icehockey. This is pretty much it for the Penguins, so I expect bloodlust.

Ya...that's what I want. Would love for the Pens to come out and just take it to the Rags in the first instead of coming out slow.
