We are closing off so many lanes. Pressure is terrific.

I can agree that we are sometimes finding ourselves in privileged enough to have the time to make sure the puck is in good position on the stick to snap it off. Schmaltz' opportunity was just that. If you take that opportunity to set the puck up, then you have to get a good shot off. Hit the post or force a big save. I don't mind the taking the time to get it set up by dragging the puck a little.

I am a little surprised Fischer was scratched, but we have a "good" problem with a talented enough roster to sit someone and likely get similar results. Hayton hasn't done anything to scratch himself. So, we rotate between Fischer, Crouse, Garland, or Vinnie having a seat if no one is injured. Frankly, it probably goes in that order for most likely to least likely to sit.
