Pier clueless said the Blues could ice the puck because it would not be icing since they are on the PP. Wrong. The Wings could ice the puck because the Wings were SH.

It still makes 0 sense, IIRC the wings were in the offensive zone at the time, why would they want to ice it?
He just got mixed up and thought the Blues were on the PK not a PP.

Of course he knows how the icing works, but for whatever reason he mixed up and thought the Blues could ice the puck and he was sure of it. And I even think he said it 2-3 times. That was hilarious.
I do not get why you make so much fuss about it.
