I mentioned maybe getting an incomplete shutout out of Mrazek in the third and benching my goalies for the rest of the short week. And then he let in 4 goals and I lost the goalie matchup immediately, so that's cool.

I would be surprised if they werent to be honest. Way too much upside. Of the three Byram is walking in on the best situation and im happy about that. I hope him and Makar tear this league apart.

That's what happens when you're constantly out muscled and scored upon like he has been. He has a rush or two a game that makes you think he might finally turn a corner, but ends up losing the puck in the o-zone. He's just not a good defenseman right now. It also doesn't help that the wingers accepting his passes try to toe drag at the defensive blueline and lose the damn puck every damn damn.

Girard needs to be built back up confidence wise. That needs to start on the 2nd or 3rd pair against weaker competition until he regains his swagger.

We know the level he's capable of playing at. We saw it when we first acquired him, we've seen it at the beginning of this year even. He just needs to find his game again.

Taking spin o rama from Girard is like taking air from your lungs. The man cant play without that, ergo Girard's decline
