What was our team built like when they went to the Finals?

1) Best line in hockey
2) Extremely hot scoring centre
3) High scoring defensive core
4) Great Goaltending

That build would have won the cup if we weren't injured.

However, currently, we don't have the best line in hockey, a sniping version of Kesler, nor a high scoring defensive core.

We need offense, and health. Our defensive core is still very good (despite looking like crap), our offense has not been.

This has been my point the entire time.

However, it has not been the topic of discussion which what I believe was did we run two or three scoring lines before it grossly deviated for some reason.

got to give him a new contract 3 years 2 to 2.2 million range
I don't consider that a bad idea, but at this point I'dlike to see him replaced by someone younger and cheaper. Higgins is a good enough player, but they need to find a way to start cutting costs and investing more in high end players.
