Up by 3 goals you’d think Green would get Petey and Brock out there to pad their stats instead of Gralund and Beagle

He does it every game, with or without anyone coming from the slot to crash the net. Every, game.

Like I said, every now and then it's fine. But not at the rate he does it.

With his speed he can do that 10 times a game .
Watching him this year he has done far better holding pucks making some really nice plays and when like that last play he is 1 on 3 take it deep is right if EP read it he has a prime chance with time .

Yes he is. He’s so underrated most observers think he sucks. That’s how good he is at being underrated.

He does suck.

He’s a slow, small, soft, lazy player who generates terrible results both offensively and defensively and is awful on special teams. He’s quite simply one of the worst regular players in the NHL.

I usually think scoring empty net goals is a good sign for a player:

- It signals that a coach trusted the player holding a lead late in a game.
- It means the player was able to gain possession with a man down and put himself in a position to shoot the puck.

But Granlund’s empty net goal prowess makes me re-think my opinion on this...
