Really like the way the team played...aggressive all over the ice...instinctive...and they skated well. Anaheim was on its heels.

Krug with a little bit of #4 in his game last night. Pastrnak continues to draw penalties and produce.

Halak with some key saves...Impressive.

We have 2 #1 centers. Privilege.

Penalty killing was outstanding, don't think they generated a single shot, certainly nothing worth mentioning.

frustrating one for this fan, had the steak on the BBQ, game on the tube and power goes out, tree hit power wire, boom. Only saw highlights, good to see the boys finally beat the Ducks. Some beauty goals, Krug is a beast, I don`t want him to go anywhere
I take it you're not home in Halifax at the moment? Weather was fine here...

Right now they have Krejci going so two #1 centers and two #1 goalies. Krug with his 9th point in his last 6 games. No way we move him, kid has a heart of a lion. Grizz is great at avoiding hits and break out passes but that is where it ends. Krug is the krech of the dee, same excellent passing vision.

I fear the mobility of the dee will suffer when Chara and Miller get back. They will be more physical but I would move Miller before Krug. Glad Marshy is passing because the goalies seemed to come out on him now when he takes his time shooting.

Donato needs to go back down, rather see Bjork and his speed. Donato should be stronger as he is the same age as Pasta. If the 4th line keeps playing even they are doing a great job. Backes seems to have found a home with 2 speedy puck hounds in Nordy and Cave and is bringing it. Krech and Pasta need to stay together. Marchy and Bergy, find wingers on the roster for them.

It’s nice to see a little stretch of wins put together. Some guys are rolling that’s for sure. When was the last time Krejci was skating like he is now? I think playing with 88 and 63 doesn’t allow him to take night off here and there. I too have been thinking about the back end getting healthy. I think Miller will be fine, but Chara might have a little problem with mobility. He needs a fast skating partner. The recent success IMO is about the D breakout in the D zone. They didn’t have this with all the injuries. They are starting to have a system again.
Only three pages so far in the post game, must have been a win last night.:sarcasm:

First time I've heard Cave associated with the word speedy.

Just really proud of the effort the team has put forward in the last little while. Even in the losses, we played well enough to win.

I hope Sweeney feels some real pressure to get DK a winger as we have seen he is still very effective when placed with players that can put the puck in the net.

Just got to watch this one, Bruins were very stingy and Anaheim looked like they were thinking of the Christmas break.

Boston’s pp was a buzzsaw.

Don’t get to see them much but man, Getzlaf is still really really good. And Lindholm is a very good dman. Put him on the Leafs you’d never hear the end of him.

Nice to finally beat the Ducks after what seemed like forever. The Bruins are impressive right now - knowing Bergy, Chara, DeBrusk, Miller and Vaakanainen are on the doorstep is very exciting! What can I add about our goalie tandem? The luxury of a solid back-up is so valuable.

Being all ready for Christmas, there will be much relaxing this weekend while watching the two games. I hope the Bruins continue to roll and then have a well deserved break.

I will say this, Backes has been fantastic on the draw on the PP though.
Krejci has been great on the draw too. I think that first unit has lacked creativity for awhile now and sometimes they have a hard time with entering the zone. The only rationale I can make in giving Backes and Donato more PP time than Krejci is to try to get them going offensively.

I don't mind Krejci on the 2nd PP unit, it makes that unit dangerous.

I said before the Montreal game the B's needed at least 5 points in the final 4 games before Christmas to tread water and now that seems likely. Strangely I am more worried about the game in Raleigh than the home game with Nashville.
