He's looked horrible since he came back from the injury. It's painful to watch him like this.

The impact of the concussion could very well still be playing a role in his decision making and reaction times. That's pretty common.

And given how much of Datsyuk's game relies on lightning quick decision making and reaction time, well, it may influence him more than the average player. The only solution is time, unfortunately. Assuming he doesn't take anymore bumps, he should return to form.

If andersson could skate, a little speed he'd be a good hockey player. good puck sense and works his tail off but the kid's got no wheels, flat tires

Andersson is awesome. Great hockey sense and great hustle. Wheels or no wheels, he's an asset. That's not even taking into account his work on the dot.

Joker is a solid 4th liner center that can PK and do well in the dot. That is all. He's real soft too.

I know it's pointless arguing about young players on a board like this but there's a reason Andersson was on the team as a permanent fixture a lot earlier than fan favorites Nyquist and Tatar.

Wings need a big body (preferably younger than 35) who isn't afraid to throw a check or a punch when it's necessary. Our guys get manhandled night after night. Need grit.
