Damn it's a depressing lineup.

Was it that urgent to get Andrighetto down in the AHL if Eller can't play tonight?

I actually like the lineup, but to be fair, I haven't watched more than 2 period's worth of Canadiens' hockey in like a month, so I don't know lol...

They don't start the ceremonies early, they'll delay puck drop instead. So if you get there at the usual time (e.g. a bit before 7:30pm) you shouldn't miss anything.

Looking at Anaheim's lineup, it's amazing to think they're the best team in the NHL.

Think about it, Bork is their top line winger with Perry out, Andersen is their starting goalie etc etc. That's crazy to me.

Their strength is down the middle. Getzlaf, Kesler.

I don't get how this Anaheim roster can be 1st in the league.

It looks average at best.

Lovejoy on the first pair?! That guy was pretty terrible in his Pens days.

I am desperate for a link for this game. One of the only two games not shown on RDS or any other channels outside of Quebec. We get City Toronto in these parts, not Montreal.

Wait what? Another ceremony? Man I sure know how to pick my tickets. Got the Beliveau ceremony and now this one. Guess I'm getting my moneys worth.

Looking forward to the Saku ceremony tonight! As per usual with this organization, it will be good!

As for the game, this wont be easy. Anaheim off an embarassing loss to the Leafs will come out hard here. Hope to see a win, but wouldnt be surprised if we dropped this one.

I think they highlight the reality of today's game. If you have two productive centres who can skate with ANYBODY for at least 40 minutes of every game, you're going to be in good shape. It's not even like they're riding hot goalies, what with Andersen technically being slightly "below replacement" up to this point (though I notice he has had "quality starts" in 64% of his appearances, which is a level of consistency that puts him up near the top among starters - Rinne way out in front at 87.5%, btw). It might be time to recognize that Bruce Boudreau knows what he's doing behind the bench, too.

Saku Koivu: 641 career points with Montreal.

10th all-time best Hab in points. :handclap:

Max Pacioretty: 238 career points with Montreal... and counting.

403 points to go to catch Saku.

Playing with Galchenyuk, it should take Max 6 more seasons to catch him.

Max will be 32.

Anaheim's lineup is pretty deep. You have to consider they're missing Perry and Beauchemin.

Ask yourself what our lineup would look like without Pacioretty and Markov.

Sekac - Galchenyuk - Gallagher
Eller - Plekanec - Weise
Prust - Desharnais - Parenteau
Bournival - Malhotra - Tangradi

Emelin - Subban
Beaulieu - Gilbert
Gonchar - Weaver

Price

... that's not much better, for anyone looking at our lineup from the outside.
