Been saying the same thing about playing the devils to past 3 seasons.

The Rangers have a decided size advantage. Players like Mika, Kreids, Chytil, Kakko, Miller, even Laf, etc are 3-4" and 20 pounds heavier than players like Hughes and Bratt.

The Devils are quick and elusive and tough to catch so when theres an opportunity to close them out on the wall you need to do it.

You dont have to open-ice Trouba them or run them through a wall (would be nice too) because that will put the Rangers out of position, just forecheck, get a body on them, make it difficult for them to join the play, do it often and disrupt their flow.

They did a good job of slowing down the Avs after the first period, though with the Devils, it will not be like with the Avs missing half their starters. Where the Avs have players play their system to get speed, they're dealing with NJ's full complement of very fast and shifty players. Gotta be really careful with the holding and clutching, because the refs will surely be watching for that.

I know that the most famous Devil names are Stevens, Brodeur, Elias, Gionta, etc, but for some reason, no name is more "NJD" to me than Ponikarovksy, followed closely by Chorkse
