Yes we lost our composure and took penalties and for whatever reason penalty killers left the building. If we must take a penalty make darn sure its a good one. Their pp unit must be extremely confident now. On the other hand our pk unit must get its Mojo back.
On top of that the puck gotta start hitting inner I/3 of the post for us.

I don't know if it's in my mind, but I sensed that when Tampa scored their first goal the Habs appeared to be demoralized. I didn't feel like it was still 1-1 and they could win. This perceived attitude is what worries me. Hopefully it's just the way I felt it.

I think it has a lot to do with they just killed off a 4 minute PP, then almost an entire 2 minute one and then they scored. Getting scored on a PP when it was a mediocore call, really sucks.

I think that is as close to what we need to see on the ice tomorrow night. It is the best use of the team's resources. However, that is a very nasty, not in the good way, lineup. The right-wingers must be the worst group of four in the league. And, the centers are not that great either. Not as bad as the Craig Darby, Yanic Perrault, Joe Juneau, Chad Kilger, and Jan Bulis years, but close.

The only way for the Habs to win is to score timely goals and stay disciplined. Price will also need to play close to perfect tomorrow as well.

I know defense can win you championships, but we don't have any scoring power, our PP is pathetic, and da system is not working anymore...

I believe we lost this in game 1. Losing in such a nut punch fashion on our home ice against a team that has owned us all year was too much. Sunday's game did not surprise me. Me might get a token win to push this to 5 but anything beyond that I will be extremely surprised with.

Well we saw how good we looked on Sunday without him in the lineup. Who wouldn't want more of the same.

I was looking at the playoffs stats for our team and damn, some of our players are bound to score (at least I would think so...):

Subban 1 goal on 26 shots (3.8%)
Plekanec 1 goal on 29 shots (3.4%)
Eller 1 goal on 16 shots (6.3%)
Gallagher 1 goal on 35 shots (2.9%)
DSP 0 goal on 19 shots
Galchenyuk 1 goal on 15 shots (6.7%)

Hell if you remove Pacioretty's ENG it's 2 goals on 25 attempts (8%).

Some guys are in a brutal slump right now and one of them scoring one could help the team a lot...

They don't need that much though, 2 goals is almost a sure win, 3 goals is guaranteed win.

You're right about Briere > PAP

I have doubts that Bourque would repeat the performance he had last year.
