When did you change your tune regarding DD?

Never liked him.....I've always said either he's top 6 or he's out of the lineup, to me, he's worse at bottom 6 than top 6, but now, he's atrocious at everything!

I have doubts that Bourque would repeat the performance he had last year.

Also please, can people STOP hating on DSP? He's a long term investment.

I think the problem why DSP gets hated on is because the Habs don't have any goal scorers or talented wingers. A guy like DSP is exactly what we have all been looking for, he hits and plays physical. The problem is right now DSP is a bottom 6 player. However on our team since we have such a lack of good RWs his lack of offensive skill is more noticeable. When he was playing on the top line with Max and Davey his lack of offensive skill really stood out because he didn't belong there.

I would take Briere over PAP right now too. With Briere there is a chance he comes up big during the playoffs and his contract is up in June. Meanwhile with PAP not only has he been ineffective but we are still stuck with him for another year.

If he doesn't then it just cements him and Plekachu as no shows in the playoffs.

So far his 3 goals have been a very weak 5-hole allowed by Hammond, an empty-net from a 100 feet away and a softy by Bishop.

Briere better than PAP? They are tied in suckitude. Bourque better than DSP? Unfortunately you may have a case. Still waiting for play-off DSP to show up. But wait I forgot, his hits are really helping this team! Afterall who needs goals anyways?
