Buffalo has always been a hard place to play for the Leafs. Hopefully the Leafs first shot on goal will be a hard one for Miller to handle.Very nice GDT. I like how compact it is

I understand our logo is Leaf, but I just find it weird they would choose a different animal then the one typically associated with the team.

Buffalo's use to be plentiful in the area until the Tiger destroyed the population. Probably why they went with the Tiger.

Carlton the Bear's name and number originates from 60 Carlton St - the address of Maple Leaf Gardens, so there is a historical connection.

Now THAT is AWESOME! I knew of Carlton St. obviously but that is something I just never put together. Especially with the historical significance it makes me love Carlton more than I do already! Learn something new EVERYDAY!

Sabres management wanted to spur fan interest in the team and got their inspiration from what the Buffalo Bisons did with their mascot Buster Bison.
