When my son was younger we’d rollerblade together.
When he was 11 and I 44, he couldn’t keep up.
12 and 45 he was right there with me.
13 and 46 it wasn’t even close....I couldn’t stay in the same zip code as him.
similar experience with my son who played baseball at a pretty high level. Built a batting cage in the yard. 10 yrs old I didn’t even use a glove.
12 - glove, no screen.
14 - whistles one that clips my ear, and I put up a screen.
same with his arm. At 47 I had the hose and he was developing. By 50 ( he was 16 then) I prayed for my life if he unleashed.
They develop quick, you don’t see it coming.
