Great save by Rask, bailing out Backes, who was god awful in that entire sequence. Horribly slow pinch followed by flipping the puck out of play for the penalty.

McAvoy needs to be better defensively. Expected from a rookie though. I can’t wait until he works on the defensive side of his game. He’s going to be a star if he can that’s for sure.

sad when we can only call out the whipping boys but not the go to guys who are playing shiite, everyone is fair game, not just pilling on for no reason pier pressure style, if you make big bucks you better perform
