Wonderful GDT as always....

Nice to see a nearly healthy Bruins play on Saturday. Finally, there are more players above the ambulance picture than below. As far as the injured players:

McQuaid: Injured 10/19 with a broken fibula, and the day after the injury was said to be out about 8 weeks, which puts him at 12/15. He just started skating last Wednesday prior to practice. Probably a "no" for the rest of this week, and a "hopefully" for next week.

Cehlarik: Injured 11/24 against Pittsburgh, and on 11/26 the Bruins said they'd reevaluate him in 4 weeks. In other words, do not open until Christmas.

DeBrusk: Missed practice last Tuesday, the first practice after the Oilers game. Upper body, is listed as "day to day" last I checked.

One tidbit - both McQuaid and DeBrusk were at the annual toy shopping drive, while I didn't see any pictures of Cehlarik. I don't think we can use injuries as an excuse any more - this is pretty close to the Bruins we're going to get.

The Bruins are on a tear, and brimming with confidence - The Boston Globe

■ Fun stat comparison of the day:

Nashville’s top offensive defenseman, PK Subban, will carry a line of 4-14—18 into Monday’s game. In 26 games, he has averaged .692 points per game and landed an average 2.19 shots on net.

Boston’s top offensive defenseman, Torey Krug, will carry a line of 4-10–14 into Monday’s game. In 20 games, he has averaged .700 points per game and landed an average 2.2 shots per game.

Going to be a tough one tonight... a win could do wonders for this team though.

I think it will be a pretty close game. 3-2 Bruins in OT.

Looks like no Ryan Johansen for the Predators tonight. Expected lines:
  • Fiala-Turris-Smith
  • Forsberg-Jarnkrok-Aberg
  • Sissons-Bonino-Arvidsson
  • Salomaki-Gaudreau-Watson
Josi - Ekholm
Emelin - Subban
Bitetto - Y. Weber

I wish I was going, no $$ in the budget this year. Probably better, as I'm sure if I went, they'd lose. You are all welcome.

I frigging love there are so many games in NHL!! I'll be waking up blurry eyed again, being blinded by my phone as I check the score first thing before work.

I went mad over the weekend and ordered more Bruins merch, arriving tomorrow, if I wake up to a win and come home from work to some new Bruins goodies it'll be a pretty good Tuesday as Tuesdays go.
Go Bruins ☘️
