Even without DeBrusk that's the first time I've looked at our roster and said "Wow".

I think the last 75% of the season is going to be fun... :)

next to the bench
If someone runs Emelin through the glass tonight I'll buy their jersey 2 minutes later.
He might be my least favorite player in the NHL .

Knock him into tomorrow

Big Z doesn't like him either.

Interesting going with Khudobin in a tough road game after Rask posts a shutout.

I envy the Preds in that they were able to address a glaring weakness at C, and losing nothing off their roster in the process. I know it's difficult, but not impossible.

Now that Burrows has mellowed in his old age, Emelin may be the player I despise the most.

Now that her hubby is retired, I doubt we'll see Carrie Fisher much at the Preds' games. It's just as well - I think country music is genetic. You are either born able to tolerate it or you are not. I very clearly was not.

When it comes to music with hockey, I MUCH prefer Nickelback. ;)

Nashville has a great ownership team, the team is what future expansion teams should look up to.

They started out with 5 straight losing seasons 1998-99 to 2003, expected.

After that they have only had one losing season in 13 years and again this year they are looking very good.

I hadn't been following the specific injuries and had no idea that McQuaid had a broken fibula. I actually broke my left fibula about a week and a half after McQuaid after falling awkwardly during a beer league game. It hurt a ton, but I didn't know it was broken until about two weeks after. I was still able to hobble around until I actually got an x-ray. I ended up going to a specialist after, and found that I escape pretty serious and long lasting leg and foot damage. He just gave me a walking boot/air cast and said don't twist your leg or fall. Sounds like McQuaid had surgery on his, so it might have been a bit more displaced than mine? I REALLY hope to be back to being able to ride my bike and play hockey again soon. I'm going crazy having to hobble around everywhere with a cane.

Fenway, you should blog about food, half your posts are about delicious food from all over the country.

Anyways lunch time for me now, hahaha.

I am excited that there is a game tonight. That can't be good.

I agree.... like most here, I watch every game, but obviously get more excited about certain games.

I'm really looking forward to this one for some reason....probably because I despise The Preds and Subban in particular.

Sadly, it seems as if every time I'm really looking forward to a game, I'm disappointed in the end.

Today couldn't get any better.

Bruins vs Preds, my Steelers vs Bengals, the only bad part is they are almost on at the same time.

Plus the old lady just called and asked if we should take free box tickets to the Preds vs Canucks game next week. Free food and booze, oh yea.

  • The Arena design features a 22-story tower that houses in its base the Nashville Convention & Visitors Bureau visitors' center and a small theater.
Have you checked out the enormous Music City convention center across the street? That place is HUGE. They had the All Star fan fest there in 2016.

B's need to fix the PP in a bad way. They are 3 for the last 39 (7%) over the last 14 games and averaging less than 3 opportunities per game over that time.
