This is just blatantly untrue. These past 9 games they have been a top 5 team in 5 on 5 XG differential and have created something in the realm of 10XG more than goals scored. The effort is there, but the bounces are not. At a certain point that will lower confidence.

Would anyone really have predicted smith would post a ~0.950 save percentage over these two games?
