One game at time. Our Boys can start tonight by playing well and ending Edmonton’s streak

I know for myself, I want the players to do well. Specifically the stars to shine & the younger to show development. Really happy to see our stud, Petey, break through on Monday.

Hoping again for no goals via self inflicted actions or bad bounces.

Why not take Roussel out and give Hawyrluk a look? Give the vet a break and see what we have as well.
I personally want Roussel in the lineup so that he answers for the JP incident if an Oilers steps up to challenge him. But, from what we have seen of Roussel, he wouldn't accept a challenge. Oilers don't have a McSorely, no team really does aside from Reeves.

I mean - I would have done this ages ago. Roussel is my number one pick for the guy that should be in the press box right now. He brought nothing but bad reputation calls for months, and his last game was so aggressively awful in terms of poor discipline and terrible turnovers, he deserves a benching.

I don’t see Green doing it, though. He’s content to blame our woes on young players making mistakes.

10-9 Oilers
EP with 3G, 5A
Hog with 3G, 3A
Brock with 4G, 2A
Hughes with 5A

Holtby stops 35 of 45 shots for the loss
Smith stops 9 of 18 shots for the win

Sutter/Roussel/Myers goes a combined -20 in the game with Roussel/Myers taking 5 minors...each...

Sutter/Roussel/Myers also lead the team in ice time.

Green blames Hogz/Gaudette/Jake for the loss as they were not as attentive in the D zone as the coach would have liked.
