I don't think he has. If he was he wouldn't have been able to play for Providence yesterday. He was put on the Taxi Squad on March 7th and sent back to the AHL on March 8th according to CF.
Taxi Squad by definition is AHL, ISN'T IT.. the only difference is practice..... not like a traditional in season recall.....

Yes, this is right- according to the ruleskis, taxi squad players cannot participate in AHL activities. They had him up for one day then sent him back to Providence. Not sure what that was about.

If you're on the Taxi Squad you are not allowed to participate in AHL activities.

Seeing as they treat taxi squad as AHL, can't Boston just put Seny on the Taxi Squad after each game thus resetting his 10 game/30 day clock?

It wouldn't reset his clock, that's cumulative...but I believe you're correct that if they just move him to the taxi squad the days there won't count toward that.

For example, Greg McKegg was waived Jan 12th, he's been on the taxi squad since. Got called up Feb 28th, sent back down March 3rd and didn't require waivers.

I expect Senyshyn will be in the group that moves to the Taxi squad every off day for cap purposes but not for waiver reasons.

I forgot who pointed it out, but I think they needed to "bring someone up" to the taxi squad to be compliant with the player minimum

Senyshyn is the Yeti 2.0.

Finally they give the kid a change, Debrusk better put in a top notch effort tonight, guy needs a goal or something to boost that confidence.

With the offense struggling as it is, they might as well put all the forwards names in a hat and go from there.

Lets go!!!!!!!!!!

You know things are bad when everyone is desperately clamoring to put in the ugly duckling from the draft that shall not be mentioned to help fix the offense. I love this place.

@OneManIsNoMan After spending some time reading about waivers it says this "When a player clears waivers and is sent down and then is called up again, he does not have to clear waivers to be sent down again unless he has played ten games or has been "up" for 30 days." It does not mention anything about playing or being in the AHL resetting any of that. So that tells me that after 10 games he would have to go through waivers again regardless of were he was between games 1 and 10. Hopefully @DominicT can confirm that for me.

Not his fault and don't know what you have until given a true shot... Especially since hes playing well. Never know how it'll go.

I would prefer to leave his draft status out of it, as it shouldn't be part of the conversation with this kid. He is just another prospect at this point who has shown some ability and may be able to help the team. If he was drafted in 2017, for example, we'd be just as excited because the Bruins need what he can potentially give.

24th in the league in goals for. Would be a great night for DK and JDB to get something going since they've stunk the joint up so far this season.

We should have a HF sportsbook line for whether that happens. I am not expecting a lot, particularly from JDB. Whatever is ailing him I can't imagine is all better because he got one night in the pressbox. He missed a few games with an injury and got to watch from upstairs, came back and was still playing like garbage. However, I am willing to be hopeful here.

I was wondering if they'd try this. Not sure if Ritchie's played much on his off wing but it seems pretty clear that Jake is much more comfortable on his forehand. Worth a shot for sure.
Ritchie, being a net front guy, seems like he wouldn't be too impacted by which ever side he is on. 2/3 of his points are on the PP anyway, so it's not like he's lighting the world up at 2LW.
