I also get Laine is frustrated - but he is super soft on the puck. And if he is not being fed has a hard time generating anything. Looks slow at times.

I'm not sure if I see the same player. Laine's passing opens up the ice a lot, he creates space on the PP just by being there.

It's just that for every really good play you get a turnover. I'm sure he'll clean it up as time goes by.

When was the last time the Jackets scored with like :15 or less left on a power play? There's no halfway. They either win a faceoff or score on a quick passing play in the first 10 or 20 seconds, or they spend two minutes looking like they're blindfolded.
