I thought Krug was really good last night too. I really hope he takes a reasonable 7 year deal here. I'm not sure if they can fit Coyle in, he's going to get Krejci money, May be a 7 X 7 guy on the open market. I'd push to get Gryz a longer term deal in the John Moore neighborhood and eventually Moore will need to be moved.

At this point in their respective careers I move KREJCI and keep COYLE at that hit.

You're crazy to think Coyle gets anything above 5.

Coyle is a must sign...6-36

Bruins have the best defense and goalie tandem in the league. Stacked down the middle. Only issue could be 5v5 scoring again but we will see. Team is all business this year.

The NHL has been good this week. Teams are flying and playing hard. Was a little worried when they went all NFL during the preseason with no effort, but watched about 7 games this week and the product is looking good.

So we’ve established in the first two games that either of our goalies can steal a game. Check that off the list!
Agreed. And the D is very robust, but even despite it being so early in the season, I have concerns about their ability to score goals. I have a hard time believing there was not one spot available for one of their younger guys with offensive upside (ie: Bjork, Steen, Studnicka)

I love Kuhlman and he deserves to be there (solid game last night), but I see his potential as a 40 point guy. They need to start trusting and investing in one of their other upside prospects over the Ritchie types.

Noone one has said he wouldn't. Not here, not in management.

Ritchie is being given a set amount of time to see if he is a legit NHLer while Bjork is still waiver protected. Anders will be up with the team soon enough.

Whomever is performing best/deserving will be up...Why would Bjork be the automatic / "chosen one" who comes up next?

Bruins are good at recognizing effort/results from the P bruins. It's way too early in the season for any promotions and with Nords back next week one more bruin will probably be sent down to P land.

Because its not about talent levels some times, its about what they bring to the table and if the teams needs it. Right now its Ritchie because we need that physical presence in the slot and along the boards. If he does not work out they will shuffle the lines and re-think. Bjork looked the most NHL ready in camp of those in Providence so I assume he is next up.

Rask and Halak are definitely the best 1-2 punch in goal in the NHL, we are fortunate to have not one , but two great goalies. When you have two goaltenders playing great you will win more games than you lose, that being said I think when this team gets its offense going they will be dynamite. Need to call up Bjork and also trade for another top 6 forward then we are good to go.

I was down on the Ritchie idea however I like what I'm seeing from him so far...Agree with what your saying about the physical presence etc...I disagree on Bjork being next up...it could very well be however should there be someone else performing at a higher level bringing better results it will be that player.

Bjork didn't exactly score at will this pre-season. I don't recall him scoring one goal? He's in providence to find his scoring touch. i think he will but it's not a guarantee he gets first call up.

Your right in that we don't know who will distinguish themselves in Providence yet, too early. For all we know Paul Carey could be up. I assume Bjork because of his level he showed in camp. But management might stick to their guns and let him sit in Providence for awaile and get some confidence and goal scoring touch.

I only caught the 3rd, but man, Grzelcyk is a beast. I have a feeling that Seattle is going to nab him.

(yes I know I live in Seattle, but I'm a Bruins fan first, damnit! lol)

Vegas will be good for us. Their high tempo play will get Bostons engine revving come win or loss.

Boston Bruins have the best tandem goalies of any team in the NHL.

They need some offensive help, team. It's time, right now, next game, I know they are playing Vegas.

Go Bruins

The bruins obviously need offense. Maybe bjork can be the guy who can help during the season. Fact: it won't be backes or Ritchie. Their presence in the lineup is trivial.
I'm hoping that Lauko develops into an elite type forward that we desperately need.
We need good young blood

No way that happens, Him and Charlie are on a different level moving the puck out of danger in the Dzone. Griz is becoming a must keep unless its a top line player coming back in a trade

Bjork with a goal and assist, 2nd star, in ProBs opener.

Just sayin’.

I think as the season goes on, it’ll become clear why Coyle won’t be replacing Krejci. I love Coyle’s game, but he doesn’t have the offensive skill set of Krejci. Pay attention to their passing, it’ll make you appreciate Krejci that much more... Maybe.
