Attendance is generally announced at 2nd intermission. The empty corner seats that you're probably talking about (which I also see) are probably corporate seats given to people who didn't care to show up. Also known as the majority of Toronto's lower bowl.

Good Strome line shift. IMO if the concern is that the system isn't flexible enough to work for Strome I think a shift like that shows it can. It's not as rigid as it was last October
