I don't why some people use last year first 17 start and compare to this year.......you can compare to any other year and it likely be similar

My jimmies are rustled. Lack wears the hat with an "M" on it, Miller wears the hat with an "L" on it.

The Coyotes are looking thin on talent - that being said, Tippett has managed to always squeeze a lot out of their group, so can't be taken lightly.

Which is a problem for the Coyotes. Even with seven 4th liners and zero first liners, on the every day roster, Tippett still manages to keep us hanging around until after the trade deadline. Our valuable assets (Vrbata, etc) walk away and we get no return, our draft picks are outside of the top ten, and we remain an unattractive destination for free agents. Can't rebuild, can't make the playoffs. Perpetual mediocrity.

This is where the Canucks come in. You've got to beat us in regulation. The more regulation losses we can pile up the better. So we can behave like a normal team does when they suck; sell our vets, rebuild, draft in the top five. So, let's make sure you guys get that regulation win.

Keep Hanzal away from Henrik!

Seriously though, I really hope he doesn't injure 2 of our centers this time around, but the way Henrik plays he takes so much abuse down low those 2 are gonna have their run ins.

They need to come out flying and put them away early to avoid all that. Hope the Sedins, Higgninurrows and Edler-Tanev continue to where they left off. Vrbata scoring would be awesome for the old team angle and to get him going again.

Can we spot you for a 7-0 game? We need to pad our stats, in particular our powerplay and GA. Plus we making you look bad enough management has to suck it up and rebuild properly. Win/win, yes? :D

We'll take Hanzal and Yandle!

Practice lines this morning mentioned earlier on TSN 1040:

D. Sedin - H. Sedin - Vrbata
Higgins - Bonino - Burrows
Matthias - Richardson - Vey
Dorsett - Horvatt - Hansen / Jensen (taking turns on rushes)

Didn't catch the defensive pairings but Bieksa and Sbisa did not practice. Kassian was skating as a defenceman, so it's probably just maintenance for Bieksa.
