With one game in hand, Coyotes have 2 points up on the Eastern Conference leading Penguins. If the Sharks lose, they'll jump over them into 2nd in the West (with Avs being 1 point back with 3 games in hand)

Good teams find ways to win hockey games. That's the best thing about watching these guys. They werent at their best at all tonight but they found a way.

Boedker has made my top ten list of most frustrating players to watch.
Michalek continues to earn my respect more and more each game
Morris adds an element to this team that was missing tonight
Smith is not a fluke. I think he continues to prove that
Chipchura continues to earn his stripes every night
Maloney is right. Vrbata is just so under appreciated in this league.

Going to need a finisher who's hungry for the playoffs. Then they'll have as good a chance as anyone.

That Michalek/Klesla pairing was a bit of a mess. Neither can move the puck up the ice. Hopefully that's the end of that short experiment. And Vermette 6th in the shootout?
