Carl Gunnarsson (hip) continues to inch closer toward a return, but is not expected to play against the Panthers on Monday night. - TSN

Mondays Morning Skate Lines

Forwards:
van Riemsdyk - Bozak - Kessel
Komarov - Grabovski - Kulemin
MacArthur - Kadri - Orr
McLaren - McClement - Brown

Defence:
Phaneuf - Holzer
Liles - Kostka
Fraser - Franson
Gunnarsson - Komisarek

Goaltenders:
Scrivens
Rynnas

Most noted changes would be, if this is correct, is Komisarek is in and Orr on the Kadri line.

I hope we can finally beat these guys. Last year we lost every game and Florida scored 5 goals in every game, and in the last 2 seasons I'm pretty sure we've only beaten them once IIRC. It's weird, Florida used to be a guaranteed win but they've had our number in recent years.

The last game against Florida was the most depressing though. "FIRE WILSON" chants, Phaneuf getting laughed at by the Florida bench for getting a bloody mouth. Bad memories...

Where did you see that Komi is in?

And man I don't want to see Orr on Kadri's line again, ****.

Our most consistent and creative forward has to play with Orr and MacArthur..

At least put Komarov on his line, he forechecks, hits everything and cycles the puck.

MacArthur is just a terrible hockey player this year. I hope we let him walk.

I want to see Komarov-Kadri-Kulemin.

Last year, we didn't win a single game against Florida, Boston, or Philadelphia, and we only won one game against Carolina and Washington.

We need to be better against these teams if we have any hope of making the post-season.

Going 2-18-2 in 22 games is unacceptable.

Luckily we have Carlyle now so things are different, and we've taken advantage of weak Philadelphia and Washington teams so far. Now we need to beat these guys as well, and hopefully win the final game against Carolina and at least a couple against Boston.

We needs these types of wins. Florida is a bit banged up if my memory serves me correctly (but so are we). Nonetheless, chance to capitalize on some points. If we hope to make the playoffs, we have to win games like this.

Good luck boys. As a long time sth have had only good experiences with your fans ( the antithesis of your French Canadian neighbors.)

Lets play hard and injury free.

Cheers.

That third line remains rather depressing. With Grabo's unit acting as the shutdown line, it pretty much leaves it to Kessel's line to do all the scoring. Carlyle may be confused, but Orr hasn't emerged as an NHL sniper here.

With a lot of games this week have got to start in the right way. Get a key win here and keep moving up the standings.

I don't have stats (And didn't read the thread, so, I'm sure someone has them); but we are horrible against Florida. I am preparing for a loss; but would be really happy with a win, more-so than I should against the Panthers.
