They said Pavelec had the flu, so perhaps it was settling in for Montoya as well.

Why Noel plays Peluso vs a team with no big fighter and not vs Bruins or Leafs. What a plug he was this game, huge detriment to Jets.

One thing i've noticed this season, a subtle little change. There's now a hell of a lot of TV timeouts before powerplays. Maybe a league initiative to eke up scoring a bit?

TV timeouts are the first whistle after 14:00, 10:00, and 6:00, except after a goal or icing, or during a powerplay. Just a coincidence if it happens to be on the whistle for the penalty.

I remember that. It didn't look like anything, but some crazy injuries have come out of seemingly nothing. Thankfully it's not Pavelec.
