I do not understand this Volpatti fan club, as I don't recall him standing out at all. He won fights, lost fights, skated hard, took lots of runs at people, took penalties, and very rarely put up any points at all. Pretty much as replaceable as can be.

Local boy, so he had some love from the local fans. He was too undersized to be a real enforcer, and doesn't contribute any offense. He was more of a 4th line grinder/punching bag. I'm surprised the Capitals wanted him tbh.
