Shouldn’t be in the nhl. Too many passengers on this team. Wennberg continues to be soft as hell and invisible
He's a player that gets points when team is hot but is not one of those players that makes a team hot. His line is never on his back, which probably is a big part of board divisiveness on issue. He gets points, good passer, makes good play with pass occasionally, but lacks talent or motivation to pull a line with him.

Most of his points honestly is him just moving the puck. Rarely drives the play .

Defense was horrendous tonight , Detroit set back after getting up 3-0 and shot mainly from perimeter , we get back in game , another breakdown , Sedlak can’t finish , we lose , at home , again

Good insight.

Maybe this was Torts’ plan all along to get back Bob’s confidence and rally the team to him.

That first period was an absolute disgrace. How can NHL players come out at the start of a game and play like that? Sure they battled back in the third period. But there was no excuse for them to come out onto the ice like that, in a home game no less, as they did in that first period.

Sedlak works hard but he is just lacking in skill. But as far as Torts is concerned, they might as well trade Sonny.

Damn, that was a bummer.

Would have been nice to go into the California swing with back to back emotional wins. But hey, maybe they go into the 3 game trip pissed off and ready to play from the very start of the 1st period. :dunno:

Also, not gonna win many games continuing to go 0-fer-100 on the powerplay.

Glad I stayed though — I wouldn’t have been able to forgive myself if they had ended up winning after coming back

It's quite amazing how long the CBJ power play has been terrible for.....and watching other teams, get set up, get shots at the net, and we just can't do a mother***ING thing with an extra man....it's beyond frustrating.
