The Panthers definitely could've handled it better.

Money? Also he has history with the Wings and it's not like he's a Babcock type of coach that can just pick and choose from all 30 teams.

He's a good coach imo. Fired way too soon by Florida. I would take him over Blash in a heartbeat.

Agreed.

These days if a change is needed - it's a lot easier to replace a head coach than to move a handful of players.
