After a really bad start Spurgeon is playing much better. Sturm is playing so well although most here say they would be happy with him as the 4th line center forever. Last night the team did such a good job of getting the puck deep, working the cycle and making the Kings play in their own end. I thought Parrish was good with LaPanta.

If they can play that type of game against the Avalanche they have a very good chance in round 1.

Yea Rockford likes to rough it up a bit. Chaffee and Mitchell Fossier both just got 4mins for roughing. Fisticuffs were thrown but refs just giving each a double minor.
