I knew they were counting all failed challenges as minors, but I didn't realize the rest of the rule change. Unlimited minors, with each failed challenge after the first being a double minor. Wowza.

I have a feeling that Donato will be in next game and Kunin will come out.

it isn't interference if the contact is caused by a defender.

The contact wasn't caused by the defender. At best it was 50/50.
Hartman initiated contact with the defender.

none of this makes sense. Are you arguing that Hartman intended to go sliding into the net on his back?

I'm arguing Hartman initiated the contact with Guentzel, that caused him to interfere with Murray, preventing Murray from playing the puck.

It's goaltender interference. Just went back and watched it again. Twice. It's goaltender interference.

1. You're arguing that Hartman initiates contact while shooting the Puck?
2. You think Hartman initiating contact has any bearing on the rule?

Go back and watch it. If you don't understand how Hartman initiated the contact then there's no reason to discuss any further with you.

Again, do you think it matters who initiates contact?

What a weak penalty. Was that a makeup call for something? Admittedly I haven't been paying a lot of attention

It does matter, because if Guentzel isn't the one that forces him into the goalie, then it's goalie interference. It doesn't matter if Hartman intended to interfere or not. Guentzel did not force him into Murray.

Hartman initiated the contact that caused him to collide with Murray, therefore, Guentzel couldn't possibly have forced him into Murray, therefore, it's goaltender interference.
